Indian Ocean Drive - Shoulder Widening

The works entailed shoulder widening and seal on Indian Ocean Drive at two locations, Leeman and Greenhead, in order to achieve a minimum of 9m seal on an 11m formation.

North West Coastal Hwy - NWC Hwy/Olsen Rd Intersection

Centrals were engaged by Main Roads WA to construct North West Coastal Highway. The works under this contract involved relocation of the existing intersection approximately 300m to the south in order to improve sight distances and road geometry on all three approaches.

DeGrussa Copper Mine - Monty Boxcut & Civil Works

This project included the earthworks and civil construction for the Monty Project (Monty) located approximately 10km east of the existing DeGrussa Copper Mine and located approximately 900km north-east of Perth in Western Australia. Separable Part 1 – Haul Road and DeGrussa Tie-in Works. Separable Part 2 – Monty Infrastructure. Separable Part 3 – Monty Infrastructure (Services). Separable Part 4 – Monty Infrastructure Box-Cut (Mining).

Nullagine Iron Ore Project - Warrigal Haul Rd Construction

This project involved the construction and seal of 7km of bitumen haul road. The road was constructed in challenging terrain with several large creek crossings and including tie-ins with existing haul roads, requiring interface with heavy haulage traffic. The scope of works comprised clearing, grubbing and stripping of topsoil; earthworks; borrow pit management and rehabilitation; pavement construction (subgrade, subbase and basecourse placement); drainage including culvert and floodway installation; and traffic management.
