Board of Directors

 Chairman David Steele

Chairman Bruce Anderson

Bruce has over 45 years’ experience in the mining industry both in underground and surface operations .He been involved with both base metals and gold mines in many parts of Australia and overseas. He has been in General Management positions since 1987 and formed his own consultancy business in 2003.

His mining experience has been heavily involved in underground mining both in narrow mine stoping ,long hole stoping and various forms of stope back filling processes.

During the latter stages of Bruce’s career he has focussed using his skills assisting with operations that require a need of becoming more efficient and profitable.

Bruce was on the board of the Geraldton Port Authority for a total of 10 years during which time he held the position of deputy Chairman for a number of years.

Managing Director - Craig Patterson

Craig has over 31 years’ experience in earthworks and civil contracting, having held a variety of roles prior to acquiring Centrals in 1997.

As Managing Director, Craig has overseen the company’s significant growth through strong client relationships, robust financial management and long-term strategic planning. He has also expanded the company’s core capabilities to offer clients fully integrated project solutions through specialist business streams.

Being community-minded, Craig was instrumental in the establishment of the Bayalgu Training Programme (an Aboriginal pre-employment initiative), and has previously served on the Mid West Chamber of Commerce as the President (2002 – 2006) and Vice President (1997 to 1999).

Craig continues to have a hands-on role in Centrals’ day-to-day operations, with a focus on the development of client relationships.

He is passionate about Centrals’ Indigenous and training programme combined with working with clients, stakeholder groups and community organisations to provide lasting opportunities for local Indigenous groups.
