Centrals’ story began in 1978, when the Patterson family started hiring earthmoving equipment in Morawa to support local farming operations.
In 1985, the business expanded with the purchase of an established Geraldton earthmoving company, trading as Central Earthmoving with eight pieces of equipment and 11 employees. From these beginnings, Centrals grew by investing in people, plant and long‑term client relationships.
Starting in the Mid West, Centrals has delivered projects across regional Western Australia — from Halls Creek to Pinjarra, and east beyond Laverton.
Our success is built on safety, operational excellence and quality workmanship, supported by continued Patterson family ownership and a strong, committed team.
More recently, Centrals has expanded into the Perth market and relocated its headquarters to Belmont, strengthening partnerships and reinforcing our position as a leading Western Australian civil and mining services provider.
