He has played a key role in Centrals' growth from a family-owned operation into a leading Western Australian civil and mining contractor. Craig now provides strategic guidance to the business, drawing on decades of operational and commercial experience.
Dirk Taljaard
Chief Operating Officer
Dirk Taljaard joined Centrals as Chief Operating Officer following an extensive career in civil construction and infrastructure. He has held senior operational and project leadership roles delivering major mining, earthworks and infrastructure projects across Western Australia. Dirk brings broad experience in operational management, commercial performance and project delivery.
Justin Frost
Chief Financial Officer
Justin Frost is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in financial and commercial leadership across the mining and construction sectors. He has held senior finance roles within major contracting organisations, providing expertise in financial management, commercial strategy, corporate governance and business performance.
Hayley Ings
General Manager, People, Safety & Quality
Hayley Ings brings extensive experience across people management, organisational capability and integrated management systems within the construction industry. She is responsible for Centrals' People, Safety and Quality portfolio, supporting workforce development, governance and the continual improvement of business systems across the organisation.
Iyad Lashin
Pre-Contracts Manager
Iyad Lashin is responsible for Centrals' pre-contracts function, overseeing estimating, tendering and business development activities. With more than 25 years' experience in civil engineering and infrastructure, he has delivered successful outcomes across major projects, bringing extensive commercial and project planning expertise to the business.
Paul Somerville
Mining Services Manager
Paul Somerville brings more than 20 years' experience in mining operations, maintenance and asset management. Having previously held senior operational roles with Centrals before returning to the business, he provides extensive leadership across mining services, supporting safe, efficient and reliable project delivery for clients throughout Western Australia.
Paul Burton
SHEQT Manager
Paul Burton has more than 35 years' experience in health, safety, environment and quality management across the construction and infrastructure sectors. His background includes the development and implementation of integrated management systems, risk management frameworks, compliance and governance across major projects throughout Australia.
Leigh White
Plant & Workshop Manager
Leigh White is an experienced maintenance leader with a background spanning mining and civil construction. Beginning his career as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, he has progressed into senior management roles responsible for asset management, maintenance planning, procurement and workshop operations across large mobile plant fleets.
