Central Earthmoving delivered major road upgrade works along Indian Ocean Drive between Leeman and Brand Highway in regional Western Australia, improving safety, traffic flow, and long-term reliability along this key transport corridor.

The project included over 31km of road construction, realignment, overlay and widening works, as well as construction of new northbound and southbound passing lanes. Additional works included culvert replacements, pavement marking, signage installation, pit establishment, and full traffic management during road closures and detours.

With more than 175,000m³ of pavement works completed, 59 hectares cleared, and over 337,000m² of double coat seal installed, the project demonstrates Central Earthmoving’s capability to successfully deliver large-scale civil infrastructure projects in remote environments with challenging logistics and limited resources.

The project also achieved strong outcomes through ongoing collaboration with Main Roads Western Australia, high levels of Aboriginal and female workforce participation, and strong engagement with local businesses and suppliers.
